Its nice to have boys old enough to get things done around the house.

I called Jay and told him that Jordon was out doing his job and he didn't have to worry about scrapping snow. He couldn't believe that Jordon could even get the tractor going!

He did a nice job! Thanks Jordon!!!

It was so hard to put a hat on this dog and make her pose! This is the best one before she freaked out and ripped off the hat so she can shread it to pieces!!!

Bracken wanted an acustic guitar for his birthday--so he got guitar hero 'world tour' instead.
The boys enjoy playing together (I though the underwear shot was funny).

Okay-So I'm up late again sitting at this computer-just surfing the net. WHY do I stay up so late???? Idon't know, but what I do know is that I will be dragging my butt out of bed in the morning trying to get every one up out of bed and ready for school. Christmas is just days away and I'm not ready(stresssss). And my boy is having a birthday this week which is making me feel really old. I cant be that old to have a 17 year old--yet 40 is knocking on the door (in about 10 months-(sob sob:(). How does time slip away so quickly? Well sorry about the rambling- I hope everyone has a great week.

I finally got out my halloween decorations! I LOVE OCTOBER!!

I think I have more pictures of Missy on my camera then the kids. I guess thats because she is the only one that will pose for me!

sHAyLeE:"DAD! Tell mom to stop taking pictures of our food!!"
JOrDon "DAD!! Take that camera away from mom!!"
I can't help it!! I made this a couple of weeks ago, on a friday, and Bracken had some friends over hanging out before the football game. They all had one and just loved them. They keep asking for them when they come over. I think that it will have to be a friday thing.
They are so simple and easy to make and they really dont take that long to make (just under a hour)

recipe: 1st make just a basic bread dough.
3cups flour
2 tbs yeast
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbs sugar
1 1/2 warm water
2 tbs oil
Mis dry ingredients together, add water and oil into flour mixture. Add more flour if needed. Place in bowl and cover while your get your filling ready.

Filling (you can put anything you want in them)
I fried about 1 1/2 lbs of hamburger seasoned with salt and pepper and garlic salt. I then added chopped bell pepper and onions.

To put together divide the dough into 14 pieces. roll out into 5 or 6 inch cirles. Fill with meat and cheese, fold and press edges together. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Cook at 350 for about 30 min or until golden brown.
Serve with salsa. yum yum (I used mexican blend cheese).

I also filled some with pizza sauce, mozz cheese and pepperoni and I buttered the top and sprinkled with parm cheese and Italian seasoning.

(See ya on friday Colten, Dalton, Jayden, Brody)

Shaylee does not like her dads new look. They have been fight all day about his wiskers. (its his hunting face) He finally gave in and shaved.(what a HUNK;P)

Hunting season is here. We went to the north stake girls camp so the boys could go hunting up cottonwood. It was COLD and SNOWY. Shay and I just stayed in the trailer and watched movies and tried to stay warm. My camera battery died so I did not get pictures of the hunters:(

COPPER DOG 1994-oct 16,2007
We found this cute dog when she was a puppy 13 years ago. Jay didnt want her so we just let her stay outside thinking that maybe she would wonder away, but she didn't. She was such a good dog. She was so protective of the kids, especially Shaylee. She would follow the kids every where. She was the neighborhood dog. She knew who belong down our street and who didn't, and if you didn't she would let you know. It still makes me cry when I think of this loyal friend we were privledged to have in our family. She is buried in our back yard in between the pine trees. And we are glad to know that she is in heaven, probaly chasing the chickens!
