Tiny Spicy Chicken

This is one of my kids favorite chicken dishes.
But we have to wait until Jay is out of town when we cook this.
You see........ my husband does not like chicken...
I know what your thinking.....................
WHAT!!!--Who doesn't like chicken???...
He doesn't.
He used to--But he said I cooked it too much when we first got married,
and now he doesn't like it.
And this is the look on his face when I tell him we are having chicken------

Oh the poor man. He is strickly a meat and potatoes-kind-of-man!!!
Anyways--- Heres the receipe:

Tiny Spicy Chicken

2 1/2 pounds chicken breast, cut in small pieces
Mix and coat chicken with :
1 cup corn starch
3 tsp garlic salt
Fry in oil
Then placed cooked chicken in a 9x13 pan and cover with sauce.

Sauce:
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup vinegar
1 or 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup pineapple juice
4 tbls ketchup
2 tbs soy or teryaki sauce
(I also like to add the chunk pineapple and a chopped bell pepper)

Bake at 350 degress for 45 minutes.
Serve over rice.

ENJOY!!!

Jess wanted me to blog some pictures of Missy. She is getting big. She loves to go out and feed the horses, and chase the chickens. She also LOVES teasing the goat, but when I took the camera out today the goat was hiding under the feeder being protected by the horses.

She also knows the sound of our vehicles so she runs to the back door to see who is here and waits for them to come through the door.

Sorry for the late night rambling---but this has been bugging me all night!! Do I look like I would rip off Artic Circle?? Here's the story: We decided to go out to eat tonight and since nobody could decide I suggested 'AC' because I like their crispy chicken salad. So I placed every ones order and sat down. The same kid who took our order brought our food--except my salad. So while every one is eating I patiently wait, and wait. I check the receipt, and yes my salad is on there. So I started to get up to ask for my salad when I see that it was just made up so I sat back down and waited patiently-again thinking they are going to bring it right out. But nope it just sits there.(they we not busy). So it get up and went to the same boy that took my order and told him I didnt get my salad. He looked at me and said "are you sure?" I said yes. And this part is the kicker--He walks over to our table to check --HELLO!!!! Didnt he believe me when there was my salad sitting right behind him!! And then he brought it to me without saying anything!!! Where is the customer service?? The 'I'm sorry'. At least they could of done was to offer me a ice cream cone!!

I was looking through some pictures I have on the computer when I came across these! OH how I cannot wait for SPRING, and warmer weather!! I'm tired of cold weather and dirty looking snow. I just want to feel the warm sun on my face--I want to weed my garden (Yes I said weed-I'll probaly change my mind once they over come my garden) and I want to mow the grass. I know we need the moisture so the farmers can have good crops, But dang-it--MY FEET ARE COLD!!! (by the way the pictures were taken last spring for Shaylees plant collection that is due this spring-you gotta love 7th grade science!)

Girls Night Out

Finally!!!! Shaylee and I had been cooped up too long, so we went to Logan for a little retail theraphy and dinner at chili's and then finally went to see Twilight!! LOVED IT!!! I didn't think that I would because after reading all the books I knew what happens. I think I smiled threw the whole thing! Shaylee loved it too! Anyways, it was good to have some mom and daughter time. (Sorry no pictures, you know that would be so embassing!)

A New Hair Do

I got my hair done last Wednesday. I have had the same cut for just over a year and I really like it, but was tired of the high lights and most of them have grown out anyways. So I went a little dark and had some red high lights. I just wish Laci would do my hair for me every morning because I can never do it the way she does!!!!
